A Conversation Between an Active Alcoholic & a Sober Alcoholic
If I am an alcoholic then I must be weak.
If you are an alcoholic then you have a disease.
I will not be able to cope.
You will be given coping skills.
I will lose all of my friends.
With friends like that who needs enemies.
I will lose my passion.
You will realize how monochromatic your life has been.
I will be boring.
You will be vibrant.
It’s impossible to never drink again.
You will not drink again one day at a time.
I will lose my best friend.
You will lose your worst enemy.
I will be dishonored.
You will be envied and respected.
I will be worthless.
You will be a hero.
